I really haven't been keeping up with this blog, and I knew that would happen. Things have just gotten very hectic lately. Hm... I suppose I should play with it sometime, when I can't sleep. I'm certainly on Facebook and Twitter enough as it is.

Hello, World

Well, here I am writing again. I suppose we will see if I can keep up with it this time. I'm terrible with these things. So many half-empty journals taking up space on my shelves... usually it's either disuse or they wind up becoming lab notebooks.

Besides, what reason do I have to really keep one? I'm pretty boring anyway, right? (Just kidding. Don't answer that.)

Finals next week!

I have five minutes before it's back to the grind. (The grind that's managing to grind me down, actually. I've been taking too many breaks lately.)

Also, COLLEAGUES. Has anyone heard back from Dr. Baker about the two-week Ebola field study in Peru? Please contact me, or find me on campus, if you have any new information. It's been nearly a month since I put in my application, and I still have not gotten a reply. Anyone else having trouble contacting him?

Oh, dear--the melodious sounds of the ambulance. That's my cue. Back to work!
